If you want to have younger-looking and more radiant skin more likely you are using facial creams, gels or serum. If you are really into ensuring that you will not experience the signs of skin aging, like wrinkles and fine lines, until really late in your life then you may even be using face sunscreen to further protect you from the damaging effects of the rays of the sun.
Neverheless, if you are religiously doing your beauty routine and yet you still notice that your skin is still aging even after trying several brands of face creams then it may be time to double check your facial sunscreen. There are a lot of sunscreens in the market but they are not created equal. You better make sure that your face sunscreen blocks both UVB and UVA rays of the sun. More often than not, facial sunscreens claim to protect your skin from both rays but they actually just block UVB, the rays that cause sunburn. But the rays that cause aging are UVA and according to studies UVA could be one thousand times harmful than UVB so you should make sure that your face sunscreen not only promise to block UVA but actually does so.
To ensure this check the label of your sunscreen. Choose face sunscreens with Mexoryl or Mexoryl-SX, Avobenzone or 3% PArsol 1789, Zinc Oxide, and Titanium Dioxide content as these ingredients work as UVA defense.
So the next time you purchase a sunblock or sunscreen, make sure that it will really help you to achieve the kind of skin you really want by checking on the ingredients above all else.
