Writing with quotations has proven its worth in any content writing tasks especially if there are arguments or perspectives about the topic in which you need to verify how truthful these statements can be.

Quotations may have its significant role in writing although a writer must also recognize the rules on how to write it and the limitations on when to include one in your writing. It is so depressing how writers, who have no idea about the essence of writing quotations, abuse it in their writing context.

As a result, they end up creating weak passports that may affect in getting their reader's interest. After all the hardships you've been through in writing, all will be put into waste if you use quotations in the wrong way.

Inserting a quotation is never enough. If you want it to make the most impact, you'll need to use it effectively. Think of it like your typical paragraph, as in there's a beginning and there's an end – the quot acts as your main body.

1. Give a context for each quotation you do. Quotations, being snapshots of a source's ideas, can rarely tell the whole story. Most of the time, you'll need to provide the context for the reader to make any real sense of it.
2. Give proper attribution. Readers want to know where every quotation is coming from, so make sure you include it explicitly or implicitely. The source should be obvious, though, even when not mentioned outright.
3. Explain why a quote is significant. Why should the reader care about this particular quote from this particular source? Give your assessment and make sure the reader understands.
4. If you're writing a formal paper, provide a citation. The formats will differ, depending on who and what you're writing it for. Just remember to do it.
5. Address errors inside the quotation. If certain parts of the quoted text are erroneous (eg wrong spelling or grammar), address it using the conventions of the stylebook you're following (your English correction software can help with this). Not doing so can only serve to confuse the reader.

These five important guidelines in writing quotations will aid you when use to one in writing and how you are going to set it up by the time you most needed it. Together with the correct way of writing the English language and correct grammatical practice, you will definately end up writing successful quality contents in order to acquire your reader's attention.
